  1. In A Walk in the Woods Bill Bryson narrates his account of hiking the Appalachian Trail and his passion for nature, wildlife, and hiking. A Walk in the Woods is written very simply and uncomplex. It was an easy read. There were very few confusing aspects. Bryson was very enthusiastic about hiking and the AT, his enthusiasm was contagious. It makes the reader want to go hike themselves, despite the trials of the AT that Bryson also mentions.
